What is Writing Lounge?

a cozy, virtual space where you can spend dedicated time working on your substack, writing a newsletter, creating content, exploring your backlog of writing ideas, writing in your journal, building up your idea bank, tackling the pesky items on your to-do list to open up more time for creative practice the rest of the week, or learning to listen to what you really need when you have a protected hour of time.

What happens in Writing Lounge?

01

Each circle will start with a check-in or practice to help us all settle into the space and to connect with our most creative selves.

02

I'll almost always ask “how are you landing?” and “what are you working on today?”

03

I'll take care of the playlist so there will always be soft music playing in the background of our work sessions.

04

You'll spend time engaging with your creative practice - or tackling those to-dos (big or small) that have been keeping you from your practice.

05

With five minutes remaining, we'll spend some time reflecting on the work we engaged with during the lounge, how it felt, and how we are feeling as we wrap up.

Who is Writing Lounge for?

It's for writers, creative humans, artists, teachers, healers, and content creators who would like to reach out to their community, audience, or students more consistently and want a soft virtual space where they can tap into creative flow to do so.

It's for folks starting (or maintaining) a substack, blog, youtube channel, or podcast.

It's for folks planning launch content for their small business.

It's for folks who want to show up on social media consistently.

It's for folks who want to carve out time for a writing practice.

It's for folks writing books, poetry, short stories, and essays.

It's for folks who know that boot camp programs don’t work for them and want to try gentle accountability.

And for folks who want to be in community with other creative humans.
